Our Accomplishments

A History of Action

In 1947, we fought the Mayor to save the cable cars and the character of San Francisco. From there, we launched the first citywide tree planting program, legalized cafe seating, and legislated tens of millions for art, parks and neighborhood improvements.

Catch up on nearly 70 years of political activism that has changed San Francisco and the nation.
