Sustainable Magic of San Francisco

Sustainable Magic of San Francisco has been working to provide a unique community-building program for the residents of Parkmerced. The 50 Chumasero Memorial Garden (For Everyone Who Has Lived and Loved at 50 Chumasero) serves as a place that creates beauty, peace and harmony in an area of the City that has long been considered “not quite San Francisco” while forming a community for the residential tower. Through events like “The Great Butterfly Release” and birthday celebrations by the Faeries of the Faerie Portal (spectacular evening light shows, music and custom YouTube video eCards), it serves as an example of how each of the 11 towers of Parkmerced can create individual communities – sustainable and “remainable”.
