In 2011, San Francisco Beautiful recognized the renovation of the Sunnyside Conservatory with a Beautification Award. A 100-year old treasure once slated for demolition in the Sunnyside neighborhood, the Sunnyside Conservatory was saved by a dedicated group of community members to preserve and repurpose this cherished neighborhood landmark.
