In 2014 Protect Coit Tower was awarded the DIY Award.
Protect Coit Tower sponsored the successful Proposition B in June 2012 which requires that the City maintain Coit Tower as an open public space and prioritize the funds generated from visitors to Coit Tower to be spent on preserving and beautifying the historic murals.
