Proposal – Connected Perspectives of San Francisco’s Neighborhoods
I would use landscape paintings of various views of the San Francisco skylines and street scenes to connect communities though their different neighborhood’s perspectives of the city, much like the paintings I submitted. I would relate certain subjects placed in the scene to the poems, ranging from people using various gestures and interactions, to objects, stylized maps, to animals, water, glows, and anything mentioned in the poem.” I’d like to incorporate Muni buses, routes, and stations in the scenes to pull it all together.
