Plaza Programs Legislation – The BOS unanimously passed the legislation in the first reading. This program leverages various City, private, nonprofit and stakeholder group efforts to provide long-term activation, management, and/or maintenance of City-owned plazas. Graffiti Abatement Legislation – Legislation introduced by San Francisco Supervisor London Breed aiming to cut back on graffiti vandalism throughout the city was unanimously passed by the city’s Board of Supervisors. Surface Mounted Facilities Permits Legislation – Supervisor Wiener and co-sponsors Breed, Chiu, Cohen, Kim and Campos won unanimous support for this important legislation on the first and second vote at Full Board of Supervisor. These new rules will empower communities and streamline the permitting process with regard to the installation of utility boxes in neighborhoods.
