About the Neighborhood

The Ocean View, Merced Heights, Ingleside neighborhood is a grouping of neighborhoods known as the OMI that lies in the southwest of San Francisco. OMI is primarily a middle-class district of single-family, owner-occupied homes. Approximately 75% percent of the land area in the OMI is residential. Source: Invest in Neighborhoods

Fun Fact: Did you know that The Industrial School, a county-created juvenile detention and rehabilitation center built in the 1850s, was the first significant non-agricultural development in the OMI. Source: Western Neighborhoods Project
