About the Neighborhood

The Waterfront, also known as the Embarcadero, begins at Second and King Streets, located by AT&T Park and continues past the Bay Bridge, the Ferry Building, Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39 before ending at Pier 45. Source: Wikipedia

Fun Fact: During World War II, the waterfront played an integral role as a hub for troops, supplies and equipment. Naval vessels and ships were located along the waterfront, and almost all piers and wharfs were used for military activities. Source: Wikipedia
