About the Neighborhood

Visitacion Valley is a primarily working class neighborhood in the southeastern part of San Francisco. It is one of San Francisco's lower density neighborhoods with a higher than average home ownership rate. Major retail corridors include Leland Avenue and Bayshore Boulevard. Neighborhood assets include the Visitacion Valley Greenway, several Eichler homes and a Julia Morgan designed church. Source: Invest in Neighborhoods
