About the Neighborhood

Russian Hill is a neighborhood located north of Nob Hill, south of Fisherman’s Wharf and west of North Beach. The neighborhood boasts fantastic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and the Bay Bridge and is famous for Lombard Street, the “most crooked street in the world.” Source: Wikipedia

Fun Fact: During the Gold Rush era, settlers discovered a small Russian cemetery atop of the hill, thus leading to the neighborhood’s name today. Source: Wikipedia
