About the Neighborhood

Potrero Hill is a neighborhood in eastern San Francisco, located south of SOMA and east of the Mission. As its location insulates it from the Pacific Ocean, the neighborhood is known for its sunny weather and its views of the San Francisco skyline. Source: Wikipedia

Fun Fact: In the 1950s, the North Beach neighborhood was the home of the Beat Generation. Authors Jack Kerouac and Allan Ginsberg both lived in the neighborhood and frequented City Lights Bookstore, located on Columbus and Broadway. Source: Wikipedia
