About the Neighborhood

Bayview is located in southeast San Francisco. Candlestick Point State Recreation Area and Candlestick Park Stadium are both located within the southern half of the district. Its boundaries are considered to be Highway 101 to the west, San Francisco Bay to the east, Cesar Chavez Boulevard to the north and Bayview Hill to the South. Source: Wikipedia

Fun Fact: For a number of years after 1775, the land that is Bayview today was used by the Franciscan monks at Mission Dolores as a pasture for cattle. Source: Wikipedia
